So I guess I've decided today will be "crap food day." I usually brownbag lunch and was looking in the pantry when I came across some cans of Mini-Ravioli that I'd bought for my daughter (the one doing a semester abroad). So I decided "yeah, okay" and had that for lunch. Well of course there was another catered event, and some extra slices of cheesecake at work (perks of working at a University, I guess), and no, I am NOT going to turn down free cheesecake! Wish I was strong enough to do that, but not today I wasn't. So, I figure the best thing to do is track honestly like I said I would - today is Day 2 of the "Track for 4 days" challenge - and remember that dinner tonight will probably be home-made turkey chilli with cole slaw - NO FRITO'S TODAY!!! Yeah, my hubby & I were talking a bit yesterday; he'd like to lose about 80 lbs but I'm always his handy excuse for why he doesn't diet (angry face). He is a diabetic and supposedly on a low-carb diet, something I've got no interest in doing. Sorry Paleo people, but I like my carbs: whole grain cereal/bread, brown rice, and yeah the not so good for you pasta. Plus cheesecake, muffins, etc. and chocolate. Honestly, can't live without CHOCOLATE!!! BUT I made a deal with Ron that I'd cut back to just one serving of grains daily - my cereal, and just make meat & veggie dishes for dinner. He's on his own for lunch, of course - I can't do anything about that. But yeah, the grocery list will SOUND Paleo - no bread, pasta, milk, etc. (I use almond milk on my cereal), no chocolate or yummy snacks in the house. Yeah, we'll see how long this lasts, LOL!
