Today I am tracking what I eat - and I am being honest. Right now I'm eating part of (probably not all of)a chocolate muffin. I had another one of my famous sneezing fits this morning, which left me feeling like crap - and when I feel like crap I don't care about what I eat, I just want to feel better. At least lunch will be low-cal, to help offset the muffin. Maybe someday I'll find a good substitute for chocolate muffins; something that can make me "feel better" without being so high in calories. Right now I'm a little frustrated because my weight is back on the teeter-totter: up & down, up & down. It's still lower than it was at the beginning of the year, but it's up from a few weeks ago when I dropped down to 145. It happens. This shouldn't be an all-or-nothing thing, and it's not. I never said I wouldn't eat another chocolate muffin ever again, but I clearly have some emotional/behavioral issues I need to work on. The only thing I know for sure is that tracking here on FatSecret seems to help. I don't know why, but it does. More tracking seems to equal lower weight. So I am going to try to "reward" myself for tracking over the weekend. IF I track for the next 4 days (counting today) then I'll go see a movie. Yeah, I'll probably have a little popcorn, but whatev, never said I wouldn't eat popcorn again either. Just get a small instead of a med/large. Anyway, that's the challenge for this weekend. I'm leaning towards "Batman v. Superman," haven't seen it yet so, here goes!
