Maybe I overdid today's run just a tad. I've got to remember that I'm a noob at running and my legs are very important. I don't want to injure them. After my run, I could barely step off of the treadmill without my knees screaming at me. I had to go stretch and squat for a while to get my knees in a more forgiving mood.
Eventhough I over did it, I'm still really proud of myself. I ran @ 5.5 mph for 3 miles with 1/4 mile walks @ 3.5 mph inbetween the miles. So, I did a total of 4 miles in 50 minutes. Really proud of myself. I think I need to get headphones for my phone so I can listen to the television or a book on tape for my runs. Running is boring...but challenging.
I'm also making it my goal to go to hot yoga every night until I leave for Vegas. I love it that much and I will miss it. Phil has promised me that when we get back from Vegas he is going to try hot yoga. That will be awesome. I hope when we go it's a horrible cold rainy day (typical Seattle weather) so he can see how HY maks all the difference in the world. I also hope he gets the happy pill effect.
