Too funny with the boys and I do not think it matters where you measure as long as you are doing it in the same place every time so you can see your progress.

Soooo funny!! I can relate.. That's the one nagging section that will not go away! I have a huge tube from carrying my twin boys- that's 3 years ago!
Just go with the flow and you really do workout!! I'm jealous about how much you fit exercise into your daily life!

Ya ill just keep measuring this weird tube like area lol cause that's what I want the fat to leave ..... ha ha ha it's rare I get to sit and then i do and that's what I get lol little buggers... .... damn mom tube... my boy took up so much room, I was huge when I was preggers, it's like he had a full on apartment in there... now I'm a flap ... it's a good thing my kid is hilarious or I would be much more upset about this. *sigh* well if I lose all the weight and keep it off I'll save up money to get it lopped off. I've already had a bunch of sugeries... what's one more scar???

and the exercise. . meh... I think it sounds more impressive than it is lol... I'd love to go for an hour bike ride by myself and have some alone time instead but ... meh.... do what you can I guess.

I measure across the belly button and across the pubic bone for hips.

I used to go to Curves and they measured at my natural waist, wherever that was. While I have that mom flap of which you speak, when standing naturally I have a waist that naturally curves in a bit. That's what I measure now. However, if you started measuring your mom flap then I'd keep doing that because if you've already lost then you won't have a baseline if you switch areas which could be disheartening if you go from having lost X inches but now you are starting over.

Lol tool shed??? what's the story behind that??
I think I'll keep measuring where I have been ... I that's kinda my focus point ..
so mahjohn it is 2" above the waist? but that's my smallest part ..... why do they measure there when lots of people have more trouble under the belly button? ..........Rontravis, 7 3" binders!!! holy crap that's a lot! lol you and my dad would get along. he loves to cool and has now discovered pintrest ..... binders EVERYWHERE!
