Hi Redgirl1974... I am on day one of a new sequel, although I call it the next and final leg of my epic journey. Day one went pretty well, just counting calories and carbs and walking...and walking...and walking...and walking some more.

Redgirl, what are you doing??? You have a plan that has worked into your life. Don't get sabotaged by fads or anything. Your plan has been working for you and you say it's a life plan. Tweak it some to actually make it a life plan then stay with it, though tweaks are good to make it fit better. Planet fitness here has lots of free weights, not real heavy though. Lifting can sometimes be made safer using those guided weights rather than the completely free weight limits and it lets you increase the weight a lot. Some to be safe you should have a spotter. Set up a time with the trainer to go over how to use those if you need to, it's a free session. The trainers here have been helpful to me.
