Well it's just been one of those weeks - time to vent a little! Monday my Supervisor kind of got onto me about being late for work - I was a whole 3 minutes late! Yeah, it's been a problem and she's talked to me about it before, so a few weeks ago I started getting up 10 minutes earlier, getting in the shower 10 minutes earlier, etc. and as far as I could tell I've been doing much better. But okay, whatever, I was late after all so I've made sure I've been on time every day since. But wait, there's more! Yesterday she "suggested" I start sending print jobs to a printer closer to my office, because it's not "efficient" that I walk across the hallway to the farther printer. Well, I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone here why I do that - extra steps, needing to get up & move around more often, etc. So I went home & vented to my husband about it and he said "she's your Supervisor, just do what she says." Yeah, thanks Ron:( Not the point at all. Then today she sends an email to me and my co-worker saying she now wants weekly reports talking about what we did, any issues or concerns, and a self-assessment. Really? Where the heck did THIS come from? Is something going on that I don't know about??? My co-worker doesn't think this is any big deal, and maybe I am over-reacting, but this is making me very paranoid! It's the sort of thing that would normally cause me (give me an excuse) to binge on a chocolate muffin or something - fortunately I'm broke & don't get paid until tomorrow. Hopefully I will have calmed down by tomorrow. Don't let office stress lead to an unhealthy binge, that will lead to more stress about my weight & failure to cope! Yeah, okay, I vented. I need to calm down now & get back to work. Hope everyone has a nice day, and truly hope mine gets better!

Sorry you are having a really tough time! Efficiency is the hallmark of my office. I need to get X number of things completed every hour or I fall in the unsatisfactory side. My office has the same type of thing every stinking week. Comments, Concerns, Adjustments and Assessments - only get this you assess not only yourself you must stand in judgment of your coworkers too. I hate it. But what can you do? It is a paycheck! You will prevail!

I briefly worked for a card & gift shop that wanted daily assessments about "what worked for you," "what didn't work for you," etc. I mean really - it's a clerk position! It was hard to come up with different things to say every single day, without saying "filling out this friggin' form daily doesn't work for me!" The owner was often pointing out that some section of the store needed to be more "conscious." She didn't really explain how we went about accomplishing that. I'm not dense, I get that it was metaphysical but it seemed rather subjective whether this goal was achieved. They also wanted volunteer work to shift the stock around on Sundays when we were closed. Bad for you if you didn't "volunteer." Thankfully I found a different job fairly quickly. But as for YOUR case, yeah, be careful what you put on the report. And always report you are proud of yourself on your self-assessment. Sounds like the supervisor doesn't have enough to do or is angling for a better position by being "innovative." I think you're right to be wary, but try not to worry, resist or be angry - that way leads to bingeing.
