Totally fell off the wagon, got strep throat and had a horrible fever for four days and ate EVERYTHING...then when I got better I had left over food and kept eating it all saying I'd start again when it was all gone.

Then I got some bad news and got depressed and fell off the wagon AGAIN - drank every night A LOT and ate tons of food for like 5 days.

I finally decided to snap out of it...my life isn't happy right now, not going the way I want at all. I'm lonely, I'm unhappy, and the troubles of the world feel so overwhelming and I feel like I'm facing them all alone.

Decided that getting fatter and drinking my life away isn't going to solve anything, it'll just bring even more sorrows, and in a way, it's giving up on the wonderful life I could work towards...which I'm going to try to do.

After a month and a half of doing spin class and lifting weights and only eating 1200 calories and not losing weight I'm finally returning to low carb after being off of it for a few months.

I remember when I weighed 273 that I tried to calorie count and wasn't losing just like this time and that's when I found low carb 7 years ago and had been on it ever since. I don't know why but my body just seems to prefer extremely low carb.

Hoping I'll see better results with low carb - I've never had a month and a half stall while doing low carb and working out. That was the main thing that made me depressed and fall off the wagon. Being low carb does make life a little more difficult but HEY I want results! Trying to lose 20lbs for summer.

I'm on the same boat! I started my diet around Nov. 2015 at 285 and then the holidays came and i crashed big time and started losing the weight back..came across this meal replacement called IdealShape, lost about 10 lbs so far, but like you, i think my body responds to even lower carbs...i went on Atkins about 3 years ago and lost 30 lbs. fast, but it all came back and even more..i weigh 274 now..so i can relate..well i know i need to get off the rollercoaster diet ride..someday:)

I know the feeling, sometimes it seems like life just won't give ya a break....I know eating/drinking/or any other negative behavior doesn't help but sometimes it's just. so. hard!

Hugs. I know the feeling. Hang in there. Self care is important, although it's the last thing you have energy for. And I'm talking as much to myself as to you.
