Well, happy "Fat Tuesday" to everyone - this is day 2 of the 1200 cal "Stop & Drop" diet, and my weight is already down 1/2 lb, getting close to my last recorded weigh-in, LOL! Didn't realize that Fat Tuesday would fall on this week, and I'm mentally struggling with the usual habit of indulging myself before the start of Lent. I did successfully talk myself out of getting a chocolate muffin this morning, and I must say I'm not really hungry so it's totally mental. Hopefully I won't totally blow it by going out to eat w/my daughter (like I did last week at Fazoli's), but if I do, oh well. At least I'm running tonight, which should help, plus a little upper-body training w/hand weights. Hopefully I'll see 145.5 tomorrow, then maybe 144.5 on Thursday or Friday - that would be the pound I was supposed to lose LAST week on the 12 week "Lose a pound a week" challenge. Yeah, missed the target but that's okay, get back up & keep going. Still hoping for a 5 lb loss in February, what with Lent starting Wed. that should make things a bit easier, LOL!
