OK low carbers, I rediscovered some zero carb foods today .. turkey breast sticks. jennie-o has some snack packs zero carbs, bacon, had 2 slices.14 net carbs, ground sirloin , I had one cup with taco seasoning, super filling, zero carbs. I still have plenty of net to eat another bowl of my kale soup after the gym and wont go over. Feeling pretty awesome today as a result. Its crazy but I was just reminded of how my food intake really effects my mood and I feel soooo much better when I eat right. Ive got plenty of left overs from today and some great stuff for tomorrow and most of my meals tomorrow are planned out already. Another thing I just was reminded of is breakfast doesn't have to be eggs and bacon, so Im planning to chow down on some left over cauliflower "potatoes" left over, adding some cheese and ham and making it a breakfast mash, hehe.
Sorry to be such a PITA and post 2x today , its just that I know a lot of us are restarting after a break and I was worried I would forget to post this and wanted to share. It was easy for me to forget all the shortcuts I learned and Im pretty exited.. its could also be that ive been low carb for 10 days now and the christmas cookie fog is just lifting. welp, ill stop babbling.. great night every one !!

On average what did you keep your carb grams at per day? Did you work out the whole year? Congrats!

Kitten I keep my net carbs at 30-40 normally but right now Im 20-30 bc I was bad over the holidays and put on 7-8 lbs, that Ive almost lost. My goal is to be 40 or under. AND yes, Ive worked out all of 2015 and only missed 12 days over the holidays, other than that, I worked out 4-6 days a week every week. And not crazy mad gym stuff.. up until August, all I did was walk an hour a day on the treadmeill

yummm...kale soup?
13 Jan 16 by member: FloridaAngel
Florida Angel, yes kale soup. one chicken breast cooked into pieces, cook with celery, zucchini, cilantro and onion and garlic, season with curry and salt and maybe some red pepper flakes, once all cooked up, you add kale and spinach. I some times make with out the chicken on meatless mondays.. the curry gives it the BEST taste ever..
