Tons of Rain, Tons of Wind...but fortunately no real damage here at home, to speak of. Few limbs down, etc...but never lost power. We are in the Northeast Corner of Mass. Been raining and blowing since last night!!! And still is... Seems to be winding down though I believe.
Made my homemade chili last night! Big hit. I had a nice size salad w/ a few spoonfuls on top, a sprinkle of cheddar and a dollop of sour cream! YUM!
Today we all stayed home and just kept the hatches battoned down! LOL!
I made a pork butt (slow roasted in the oven for 8 hours)... Another YUM!
Hoping for some last minute time w/ the youngest son tomorrow...as he goes back to school on Tues...starting his Senior Year!!! (God, how is that fair? I feel like I used to be a senior in HS just a few years ago??? LOL!!!)
Hoping to take him out tomorrow and snap some pictures at the beach - may develop our own Senior Pictures from our own photos ... we'll have to see how they come out!

So glad to hear you made it through relatively unscathed! Between your description of your chili and that pork butt....I'm HUNGRY!!! Hope the beach will still be nice enough for those photos, but your son is the real focus anyway. Enjoy the whirlwind that is "senior year!"

Glad to hear all is well with you.....time flies so quickly your son in senior year....enjoy every day I know my son is 29 this year I can't believe it, it only seems like he left high school a couple of years ago......Dinner sounded yummy!!!

Survived the storm...so glad! Gosh, as far as kids go...time sure does fly doesn't it! Enjoy what you can, when you can...like now!
