Andee, thank you for sharing all that. Getting the hair and clothing makeover is a super-important diet milestone, and more FS members should participate in this "vain" step (what's wrong with looking hot?). And moving out of the Fat Lady stores is exhilarating! Your next goal can be to wear single-digit jeans (don't worry -- Levi's makes a line specifically targeted to the roundness degree of the booty).

You brag all you want to! You worked hard for this and deserve it. Flaunt it at that Christmas party and by all means have a wonderful time.

Congratulations! I too have been having to buy new clothes and FINALLY not in the women's section. Right now my 12's are loose (jeans, that is.) I did cry when I went shopping last time. Tears of joy. It sure does feel good to see the 'fruits' of our labor, doesn't it. Good for you girl! Enjoy it!

I am jumping up and down for you! You are beautiful and will turn many heads tomorrow night. You are also a very wise shopper, paying $25.00 for a dress, smart girl, because now you can soon buy another dress! BTW, what color is your new dress?

Don't you love it? (I don't own a little black dress.) I'm still shocked sometimes when I see a lean guy in the reflection of a window and realize it's me. A little vanity may keep us on track. Being disappointed in ourselves can be powerful if it motivates us. When I lost my initial weight, when I was 180 pounds I was in 36" jeans. I bought some 34"s to motivate myself. They wouldn't fit, but I wanted in. When I got my weight down, I actually got into 32" jeans at 170 pounds. I guess that quick narrowing was because everything was in front on on the sides of my waist. Now I'm 190 pounds and, with the weight lifting and exercise, I'm still in 32". You and I should dance. :) (Oh, and... nothing wrong with being girly... well, for you.)
