Well since being diagnosed diabetic in September, I had gained 3 pounds and got up to 180... since I started the coconut oil coffee and high fat diet in early November I have lost 3 pounds! I'm starting to count my carbs. I haven't started working out yet... I know, I know...but I think I will start next week! I'm so happy to be at 177 right now. For two months i was stuck at 180 and I was super depressed.

I also had a conversation with myself regarding praying about it. I was ashamed to pray to the Lord and have him help me with my weight loss... so I had to talk to myself and really think about what I'm asking for. It's not weight loss perse, it's to help with becoming more healthy which also involves weight loss. So I did... I prayed about it and asked the Lord to help me make better decisions about what I'm eating. Ever since...I feel like it's really helped me. At Thanksgiving, I lost 3 pounds...CRAZY... that's when the 3 pounds just melted off. Granted I was super busy...but it was such a nice surprise. I know that I already won the Maintain don't Gain challenge at work! I just want to ensure I stay on this path. I'm so proud of myself... it's been a long time since I've been able to say that.

I remember being pissed at being 177...Now I'm proud I'm back to it. I need to loose 25 pounds by July to fit into that Bridesmaid dress... the next big goal is to loose 12 pounds by my birthday in February. Lets see if I can swing it!

Here's to being healthy and leaning on God for support. Honestly...there isn't much we can't accomplish if we just involve him in our everyday. I'm so proud to be a Christian and to have a God that is so loving. I am so proud to share my life with him. Every so grateful to him.
