Not really sure how I haven't lost any weight...I'm wondering if it's because I'm building muscle in my arms.

Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight gain. If you weight train (especially), your muscles retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as no loss, small loss or even a gain. It is temporary and will go away when your muscles get used to the exercise. If you increase weights, same thing happens. I can go for a long bike ride and gain 3 or 4 pounds the next day from water (sore muscles). Just keep going and it will even out.
