Morning.

Well, I overate (hard to come back from work-cation and get back into routine). I overslept on purpose so I wouldn't have to workout -- but got 3 hrs of yardwork done yesterday afternoon. Don't recommend yardwork in flip flops, shorts, and short sleeve shirt and glasses. Pruning light limbs off the fallen tree in our yard from last week's storms. Jammed a small stick in between my toes and now have a cut there. Wore a hydrogen peroxide soaked cotton ball all night. Really not in the easiest place to treat. This morning I overslept on purpose. Note: It's a great night when I can sleep with my husband and not be moved to another part of the house due to his snoring. I actually woke up to my first alarm still in our bed. Great night. Now he is snoozing, I had to move. (Yes, I wear ear plugs.) If I get to sleep first, his snoring doesn't bother me. If not.....well, I'm a nomad.

I have a manual journal, which I hardly ever write in. I wrote in it this morning. Writing the statement made it valid and something to improve on. Anyone else have those moments?

Day 3 of post event cleaning up. Got photos emailed out yesterday. Well, some. Just struck me I'm not entirely done with those yet. SMH.

Coffee with sugar and almond milk (unsweetened) this morning --- thinking it's caffeinated, but honestly think I put decaf in the coffee container. It's been a while since we've actually brewed coffee -- we've used instant for so long.

Back in a stingy aka thrifty stage of money. Could have purchased meal replacement shakes yesterday and other stuff I don't need immediately. Still tossing around the idea of the Bark Box for dog....anyone else tried this?

My sister and brother in law swear by Hello Fresh. We already have good stuff in our fridge. So I found a Hello Fresh recipe - Summer Ratatouille -- and we're going to have that for dinner tonight. Granted we didn't find all the ingredients (basil and thyme will be dried vs fresh) and we have cherry tomatoes vs one tomato. But everything else should be good. We'll see, right?


Also being domestic today....way overdue after a work-cation.
