Well, I'm going into this weekend hoping that I can stick to eating well. I've been allowing myself to eat more things that aren't on my diet and I've been paying for it. You'd think having a stomach ache would make me stop eating junk, but it hasn't so far. I haven't gotten completely out of hand, but I need to do better. Today I ran to Panera to grab a salad for lunch and ate a little over half and used maybe a quarter of the dressing. I did also eat half of the baguette, which I shouldn't have eaten at all, but I did it so I need to record it and move on. I have some healthy snacks packed for the day, so at least what I eat at work will be decent for me.
I am working late the next 2 weeks because the person who typically works late is on vacation, so I get to fill in. Working late makes it much harder to do evening workouts, but I need to make myself do something because I can't seem to make myself get up earlier. My goal for next week is going to be figuring out how to get my workouts in.
I'm doing an official weigh in on Monday, so I'm using that as motivation to eat well and exercise this weekend. We'll see how it goes. :)
I hope everyone has a great Friday!!

Take a glass-half-full/baquette-HALF-eaten attitude/approach!! Focus on congratulating yourself for what you DIDN'T eat vs. what you did -- that's certainly not an 'off-the-rails' binge! I do Monday weigh-ins, too, to motivate me to keep on track over the 'weakends' . . . I have no doubt you'll figure out the exercise piece soon, especially once your job returns to a more normal routine and workload. Stay strong this weekend and reach out on FS for any support as needed -- it's kept me from 'going off the rails' a time or two already!

You can do it this weekend - drink plenty pf fluids, too. Can you exercise/walk during your lunch break at work? I sometimes just walk to get extra air and a few FitBit steps.

Good restraint!!! Mary, it's so hard to stay on track when working extra hours, it really can mess with your life. I would say if you can make it through and maintain you are doing terrific. No need to add more stress on top of having to work extra. Enjoy your weekend and follow your plan the best you can.
