Changing up the food is fun when you can try new things..I tell ya I have really enjoyed eating more veggies and fruits since I quit milk..that was the culprit not the veggies etc..so happy with my great

Cathy & Bren, Yes OWL = 'On Going Weight Loss' and is Phase II of Atkins where you gradually add in new rungs of Atkins foods very slowly (5 carbs per week). I have started with berries, if all goes well and I continue to lose, I will then add a new rung: nuts! I'm going to have to reference my book once again while I do OWL.

LOL - good for you! One of the most amazing things I have experienced on Atkins is the awakening of my taste buds. After a while, things you never would have liked without a bunch of sugar all of the sudden taste just wonderful, plain or natural with no added sweetner of any kind. For me, strawberries are best enjoyed just as they are! Before I started low carb, I wouldn't have thought I could polish off lots of them & think they were plenty sweet enough without adding lots of sugar, then putting on ice cream & that sponge cake stuff PLUS whipped cream! Yikes! I like the new me MUCH better! Have fun with your new taste buds, experiment a bit, try some new things, or try old things new ways. There are so many great recipes for low carb out there!
Yes - OWL = Ongoing Weight Loss!
