I have started the KETO diet, with no sugars, no flours or grains, Carbs under 50g daily as of April 24, 2023. Within the first week I went from taking 104 units of Tresiba 200u/ml, to none at all due to my b/s going too low. My weight was up to around 260lb. I am looking forward to my next labs to see how things have changed. My A1C has already dropped from 9.4 in Sept 2022, to 7.8 in Apr 2023.
225.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 87.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.6 lb a week

Wow, good for you! Kicking the sugar and grains is an awesome feeling. You gotta watch them though, they have a tendency to creep back in when we let down our guard.
