jerrymiller's Journal, 11 July 2015

went to sportsman's warehouse today...tried on Columbia outdoor pants (they seem to be the only ones with 34 inseams) and fit into 36 waist! picking my sorry self off the floor, it's still hard to wrap my mind around 1) being able to buy 'off the rack' 2) holding those skinny ass things up and not thinking 'no way will these fit' is harder than it sounds.
It feels like I'm just an observer looking out of some other guy's head as his (not really mine...)hands pulls stuff off the hanger and brings it close to view.

maybe I'm getting delirious?

been there, and i promise you, you will never stop thinking like that! (*lol*) i started to think of my body as a vessel that i need to pass on to the person i'll be when i wake up tomorrow. That way i am responsible for the state it is in tomorrow, and in the morning i get to thank my previous self for all the hard work! Say, who is delirious now? (Moehahaha)

Just joined. I am 205 lbs, down from 212 two weeks ago. I've been exercising and doing Atkins type eating. My goal is to be a size 14, down from current size 18, by Sept. 1. I've been swimming and walking, very slowly, almost every day, and one or two sets of Nautalis machines most days. Wish me luck! Thanks.

Good for you....I remember a number of years ago when I had lost a lot of weight. I was standing in a store and noticed this woman who looked familiar and thought. "I know her what's her name?" It was me...I was standing in front of a wall mirror. Sometimes the changes just catch us off-guard! Congrats on your wonderful progress.
