Yeah we're doing brats tonight but not the baked beans until tomorrow. I can counteract one but not both lol.

Brats or sausage will add some water weight for sure, but it is temporary. Carbs will add fat, which tends to hang around a lot longer.

Hey, it's the thought that counts. My DH doesn't know the first thing about cooking inside or out so I am envious of any woman who has a man that cooks! I'd take a pound (no more) but a pound to have a meal cooked for me. And you are right, it is just water weight....it will be off tomorrow.

A man after my own heart! I wouldn't pass them up either. I just don't cook too many of them at one time anymore - because they are like Lays potato chips; can't eat just one.

YUM!! They are a treat. I'm so glad I found 3 sources for various store made sausages with no additives. Still lots of sodium.
