Maybe I should buy a few cheap ones and keep one in my purse so I always have one with me.

Purchased trail shoes and backpack for my appalachian trail trip in September! Super excited. I better get to steppin' if I'm going to be ready for a rugged 21 miles in 3 days carrying 25 lbs of gear.

WOW Kim! The way you've been going, you're sure to be in shape for the Appalachian Trail. That is a very ambitious goal, but you've doing the preparation necessary to succeed! Having a new backpack and trail shoes should provide additional incentive. I think carrying a pedometer with you in your purse is a great idea also. I am so proud of you and your accomplishments! Thanks for your encouragement Pam! This is something I have wanted to do for a long time so I really don't want to disapoint myself by not being ready.
