I'm thinking the gain is water weight. TOM left and usually for a few days I'm still bloaty. I'm still in ketosis and it's deep purple. :) I'll up my water intake even more and see what happens. (Not like I'm not drowning in water now, might be too much hidden salt or bacon, oh nuts I forgot the cashews, most likely them) I'm getting ready to take out the kayak and do some fishing. I just hope it doesn't decide to start raining. I do not have a lot of time for me most days and I schedule a few hours here and there for myself when I can. I MIGHT be able to go Friday but I wouldn't count on it. The kayak is exercise I like so I'm more likely to do that than my treadmill. Hubby and I will take it out this weekend but until I get another one we share. This one only cost me 60 out of pocket. (Traded fishing stuff including my old St. Croix rod) I really don't want to pay a ton more for a 2nd more. I did order the garmin vivofit 2 and I get it tomorrow. It is water resistant to 50m so I should be covered for the kayak and it says I could swim and shower with it, so I'm hoping it really is. I got the protection plan just in case. I really appreciated all the suggestions and I'm glad I didn't order the fitbit just because I need it in the water. My price limit was the garmin vivofit 2 even though some of the others were really tempting. Even that one was a little bit more than I wanted to pay but life happens. Thankfully it is supposed to work with my phone.

Yay, I got to take out the kayak. About an hour paddling and half an hour fishing. I didn't catch anything today but I wasn't really expecting to. 5 minutes after I got home it started raining, right after I rinsed the kayak. Thank goodness I only went out for an hour and a half. Even with the back pillow I'm still sore and some spasms. I want the 12' fishing kayak but will be happy with my little 8' not setup for fishing one for now. My cart to make it easier transporting it on the ground comes Friday. Sweet!

So glad to hear that you are enjoying your kayak. I used to live on the Gulf coast and worked at West Marine...always wanted to get into kayaking but we had a couple of prams besides our liveaboard boat so just didn't get one. Now that I live in West Texas in the desert, there isn't much need for any boat. So I am paddling vicariously with you....

Love it! Of course you can vicariously paddle with me. I've wanted one for years but my hubby thought it would take up to much room and I wouldn't use it. He started dragon boat and all of a sudden a kayak was okay. I found one pretty quickly. :)
