I was SUPPOSED to take out my new to me ugly kayak today but after a time and a half of running to 5 different stores for items needed (okay the bookstore I just wanted to go to) most of the day was gone. I did get water shoes, a life vest, scupper plugs, and no new thicker seat. Target had the shoes that wal-mart didn't have last time. Wal-mart had the cheapo (10 less than target) life vest that is required by law but no scupper plugs like the website said they had in stock, so off to the mall in the opposite direction (still not really far) and Dick's had the scupper plugs and like all the stores no kayak seats - well Dick's had 1, the same one I have. So Sunday for mother's day hubby, kid, and I will be taking out my kayak for the first time. This is good, the first time I have used a ride on top and it has been at least 10 years since I last used a kayak anyway. I'm glad I could order the stuff at wholesale cost but I wanted to use it sooner than my order would come in. I can sell the stuff I ordered and not be out $ so all is good. I can't wait until Sunday.
