Happy April! Hope no one is taken in by any April Fools Jokes.

I wanted to spend my lunch hour in the park today but looks like I'll be spending it at Pet Smart instead. Hubby went to feed critters this morning and it appears we are out of everything. Pound Puppy had to eat cat food for breakfast. Now, usually he steals this from the cat's dish, but he seemed rather confused when it was served in his bowl.

You will all be relieved to know that all the proper pet food is purchased. I buy one formula to fatten up one cat, another to slim down the second cat and of course, puppy food for the puppy.

AWWW critters get confused easily...My crazy pup is confused as my bity parrot's cage is on the living room floor instead of up on his usual place in the kitchen, she keeps getting her nose pecked. My dogs used to love the sweet feed we used to feed the horses in the winter. They'd steal what they dropped. Lots of sorghum in it so it is naturally sweet, for those of you now confused. Sorghum is a grain and in the South they make sorghum syrup with it instead of molasses. It's really good. You can also cook sorghum and eat it as you would rice (no soy sauce LOL). A spoonful of sorghum syrup with grits and a dollup of butter, can't ask for a better breakfast!

Wholefoodnut - You'd think the dog would learn after the first time! BTW-Thanks for the education on the sourghum.

I got carried away LOL Crazy persistant pup wants to be friends so keeps sticking her nose to the cage: onery parrot does not like anyone touching his cage, he bites them. Out of his cage he's mostly a cuddly little thing.

LOL--reading this post made my day and made me feel normal. LOL. My dogs aren't allowed to eat the cat food unless I run out of dog food--LOL. Then, they look at me as if I'm crazy. The little dog will grab some and run in the other room with it. The big dog is like, okay, she's watching, it must be okay! LOL. I buy thirty some odd pound of dog food and cat food. LOL.
