Even though I find it a boring task I am glad I started recording my food again yesterday. Found that calorie total was great but carb total was too high. Now I can adjust.

I just started back, too. I've been recording some on our program at work. I am hoping I can print the results out and transfer them here. I think recording the food is a big key--and exercise.

I slid sideways when I stopped recording when everyone was sick. It really makes a difference for me.

HCB - you are right - it is like a puzzle. I need to have more "go to" meals pre-planned with the right balance. The less thinking I have to do the better :)

Buffy, I've only lost 60# so many here have lost lots more than I have and are doing amazing!! I have no plans to go back to constant pain and a better chance of a knee replacement! If that means tracking most of the time, I'm all for it!!! It is definitely sometimes a puzzle.
