My highest weight was 308 as well. I had been hovering around the 290's for a couple of years but hiting that 300 threshold did cause a freak out. I was shocked and mortified. Then I lost about 80 lbs in a year, but gained 40 back in two. It can be very frustrating without support. I commend you for taking conrol fo the situation and doing something about it. That is awesome.
