We get rain for a couple of days, and I'm already feeling blue. I'd never make it in Seattle. Mr Coco was sick, so he's been withdrawn, but he seems more preoccupied since he joined FB anyway. This time last year I would've medicated myself with a carton of Haagen Dazs, but that doesn't seem like a cure. Maybe after work I'll just get out of the house and buy some clothes I've needed instead.

I'm struggling with whether or not to join FB. I don't need one more reason to be addicted to sitting in my chair and that seems like a major timesuck. Plus the friending and not friending and privacy issues seem like a minefield.

Edit: Well, I bounced right out of the green! But that's okay. I'm seeing a definite trend downwards and the yoyo bounce is normal.
154.4 lb Lost so far: 57.6 lb.    Still to go: 4.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Instead of ice cream, try herbal tea sweetened with equal or stevia. I realise that's not quite the same, but it has no calories, and it does fill you up.

That's a good reminder, Fledgist. Although the only ice cream I indulge in fairly often this summer is the 80-cal ice cream bar (sugar free), I should switch to my cranberry green tea. It isn't appealing in this hot weather, but it would fill me up no doubt.
