Hmph. Weight inexplicably up this morning. Not recording it. If it's still up tomorrow, I'll record, but I think it's just a fluke. My knees are feeling kinda tight, so maybe it's inflammation from standing for an hour getting the leaf net on the pool yesterday and wrapping the pool with winter wrap. Used to be that, if my weight was up in the morning, I would head for the refrigerator or pantry to get something I'm "not supposed to have." I seem to be better about that lately, PTL.

Pool is DONE! Once all the leaves have fallen, we'll take off the leaf net, but otherwise, nothing to do to it for 8 months. Oh, well, when we have heavy rains, we do need to pump the standing water off the cover. But, in my mind, we're done, and I'm so thankful that things went so smoothly.

This is the fruit bowl I made yesterday. I haven't cut up the small watermelon yet, but I'm going to keep that in a separate bowl, since it seems to go bad before the other things. I also have red and green grapes (so sweet!) that I'm going to keep separate and eat separately from the rest of the fruit. Got a really nice honeydew again, very sweet. I'm so glad, that at 68, I finally took the initiative to look online for how to pick a sweet one! Lots of bland honeydew in my past!

Speaking of fruit, I think I'll go have some now!

Let me know what you think of my NOT reporting today's weight.

I think you should do whatever makes you comfortable. My weight can fluctuate wildly up and down for no apparent reason, sometimes to the point where I begin to question my diet, but I have learned that, if I'm patient, the drop will come. I post it all because I hope it will encourage new members if theirs does the same. That they will realize that it is normal and not self-sabotage, as I too, have done in the past. Glad your pool is done, have a great day!
