I jumped rope today!

I am so glad you posted that. I totally forgot about jumping rope and I love it. It's so much fun isnt it? I try to remember the songs from when I was a kid.

I think I could jump rope but the landing wouldn't be pretty! ;) Congrats on all of your progress Letty. You've done really well.

Great cardio, bet it was fun! I could only do it on my trampoline, too hard on these ankles and knees.

I was a wiz at double dutch as a kid. Now just thinking about skippin rope has my knee and hip aching. YOU GO GIRL!

I twisted my knee about 15 years ago ice skating, and being as heavy as I had been it always bothered me. My doctor told me just lose weight and it should get better. He was right. It feels so much better. But today I was worried my knee would not be very happy with me, but it did beautifully.

Woot! woot! every pound takes something like 12 pounds of pressure off each knee, not positive that number's on the money. I was heading for a knee replacement unless I lost and exercised, no surgery looming now. Keep doing what you are doing!!!

I believe it, because when I had lost about 20 pounds I could already tell a huge difference in my knee pain.

My Ortho doc threatened me with surgery within 2 years, I was living on pain meds and using a cane part of the time every day. That was almost 3 years ago. My cane hangs in my bathroom on the shower rod as a daily reminder to stick with my plan.
