Why is it so hard for me to lose weight? I have been trying for like 5 years now and just nothing happens. This is the longest I have stuck with a diet/exercise routine (4 weeks) and I have not lost a pound. I am so disgusted with myself. I have really been pushing myself too and I've done pretty well for not having any will power. I'm really uncomfortable in my body and even embarrassed with the way I look. I know if I could lose weight I would feel so much better about myself. :(

I was stuck at the low 140s for a long time too. I had to eat like 90% veggies and 10% everything else to break it. Good luck!

Are you eating all your daily points every day? Eating less doesn't always mean more weight loss. Are you writing down all your food? It's easy to overeat with bites, licks and tastes. Are your clothes more loose? Sometimes we lose fat, but don't see it on the scale right away. Are you drinking your water and getting in all your protein, dairy, fruits and veggies? Are you eating too many processed type foods (too much sodium)? Are you already in a healthy weight range for your height? (It can make it harder to lose). Spend a week tracking your points (make sure you eat your daily points as a minimum), getting in all the HG's (healthy guidelines), drinking your water, and getting in some exercise and see what happens. The fact that you lossed weight on SB means you can lose the weight. It's changing your habits so that you can keep the weight off that is challenging. Good luck!

Thanks. I definitely think I need to just cut out carbs and eat more veggies, but yuck! Veggies are hard to eat because most of them have to be cooked and then they still don't taste good. I have been writing everything down and counting points and eating my limit of 20 every day. If I eat more I take it off the weekly points so I still don't go over what I'm allowed to have.

Everything in moderation is key. Also having low cals a day does not equal weightloss. If you arent eating enough your body will cling to your weight bc it thinks you are starving it. I usually eat between 1500 and 2000 calories a day. Last week I ate 1300-1400 and did not lose a pound this week it is between 1600-2000 and I have averaged almost a pound a day. You can do this. Good Luck.
