I lost a pound in May. Yay me!
Retirement is funny. I am not really doing anything special, just more of the things that I always had in the back of my mind as needing to get done. I volunteered in a couple of places and that is ok but so far not the atmosphere to meet new friends.

Better down than up Abba. Retirement does take some getting used to, so take your time. Find something you like to do and join. Book club, classes at the gym, continuing ed classes at the local university, walking groups, dance lessons, diner's club, whatever interests you. Sometimes I just spend quiet days at home, reading or doing other things I enjoy. I know you'll figure it out.

Glad you're settling into it! There's a lot to be said for finally having time for the projects that are difficult to do when you're working full-time. I'm definitely looking forward to that in 604 days...not that I'm counting 😜
