Monday. The start of a new work week and the beginning of a new month. I have been on this leg of the journey for 19 weeks now ... I wonder when I will have learned new habits and the old ones will start to fade. I imagine the old ways will rear their ugly head from time to time I only need to recognize them and not give them the power they once had over me. It is nice to begin the summer being close to my goal weight instead of wondering if I have any summer clothes that fit me and rushing off to Wal-Mart to buy some inexpensive things that aren't too tight! Well, time to pack my lunch and finish getting ready for work. Have a great day!!! Take care of yourselves today!!

Congrats on 19 weeks of healthier living! I've been at this leg for almost a year now, and the new habits do get easier. For me, "this leg" I hope to keep going forever. Because I'm not on a temporary diet. I want to keep these good habits (eating healthy and exercising ) for life! I'm worth it! We're worth it! Keep up the great work!

Amryk ... I completely agree ... this is not a "diet" in the traditional sense of the word for me either ... it is a way to living and I too want to keep it going for LIFE!!! No more "on" and "off", "lose" and "gain"!! It is good to hear that after a year you have found the new habits get easier ... I have something to look forward to!! Thanks to you too Info ... I'm very pleased with my progress!!! Yahooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, the mad dash to Wal-Mart...now There's an old habit we won't find hard to break! LOL. Congrats on your closing in on your goal...and "Cheers" to new, healthy habits!!! :-)
