All the candy is finally out of our house except some gobstoppers and marshmallow peeps, which I can thankfully resist. Whew! Good workout planned. I see you're almost to your goal weight-wise, nice going!

thank you guys. yeah, just a little shy of a goal weight i have been working on for 4 years. i felt like i sabotaged it a little this week ... maybe a little self destruction ... but am regrouping. because, quite frankly, i intend to get to 5 pounds less than 150. once i cross this 150 threshold, i will feel like i have achieved something. but it is a huge imaginary barrier. glad the candy is gone, though i'd eat the gobstoppers - but no peeps. cheers!

Ditto on the candy. Halloween is like a pre-season football game. It's getting you ready for the regular season big games like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. Halloween was just sugary temptations, but the big guns are coming like Turkey, Sweet Potatoes, Stuffing, home made bread, Lasagna, Meatballs, Ham, Apple Pie, Cheesecake and all those other Holiday delicacies. Got to come up with a plan and stick to it. Since I spend Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day at the relatives, I don't have to worry about all the leftovers in my fridge.
