Debbie Cousins's Journal, 24 February 2022

Things are going ok around here. My son's family moved out this weekend. Thought it would be less monetary stress on us, but we had to pay $163 for the moving truck (and per-mile charges), have had to give them $50 twice to fill up their car because of all the trips back and forth, and had to buy them a $400+ sliding glass barn door to separate two rooms (with no room for a regular door to open), so the dog will be separate from the three cats. Well, at least they will have grocery money now, PTL.

I've been listening to an audio book by Joyce Meyer called "Authentically, U.iquely You." It's been a good morale booster, reminding me that God loves me just the way I am. Many overweight people, including myself, have a negative self-image because of our weight. The book encourages us to love ourselves because GOD loves us, and that will enable us to better love others. I'm trying.

I just lost two paragraphs of typing. Sometimes, I will hit a certain combination of buttons accidentally, and it will highlight text and delete it, and there is no BACK button in here. ARGH.

Guess you didn't need to hear those musings.

Great group in the Daily Accountability Challenge this week. I'm off now to set up the next two weeks of challenges and to send out the invites for this coming week.

I saw Joyce Meyer once. She is a good speaker. I have learned to hit control-z when I accidentally lose text. Blessings to you
