So, I’d like to ask you, the FS community, how to tackle belly fat. It’s time, and yes I’ve procrastinated a little, to push to my final goal. But something that is evident is I am losing the weight all over, but my belly is still a ponderous site 😆😝.
How do I ultimately work it down so my body will be more proportional?
240.0 lb Lost so far: 53.2 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 17 August 2021:
1236 kcal Fat: 30.48g | Prot: 54.76g | Carb: 186.09g.   Lunch: Keebler Toast & Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers (39g), Nectarines , Chocolate Chip Cookie, R.W. I also have that belly fat which I can't quite figure out supposedly when we lose weight it's an even layer throughout our body I keep hearing insulin resistant but I don't even know if that is a bloody thing

of course I still have 20 lb to lose and after pregnancy your belly is not quite the same course my baby would have been 36 so I got to quit using that excuse

Thank you both! I guess there is no short cut in this instance. 🤔. Guess I need to definitely get my bike out of mothballs and start working my core to start. 🏋🏼‍♀️Works out for 10 mins, am I skinny yet? 🤣😂😳

first the disclaimer. I'm no expert or very knowledgeable. belly fat is hard. I'm 43 and just last year cut a 6 pack for the first time. I cut to about a 400 cal deficit and used an app from leap fitness. they have 2 one is called home workout no equipment. that's the one I used. the ab routines are good. they also have a 6 pack in 30 days. haven't used that. just my experience.

No problem. And now that it's fairly easy and I have a gym I start with sets on the resistance machines then finish with the beginner or intermediate stuff from the app. Also adding a plate or a kettlebell to the Russian twist makes it more intense.

exercises absolutely, but if u can suck down 1-2 oz of the murky "real" apple cider vinegar a day, I believe it helped me, and many other health benefits. gl

My understanding is that fat reduces all over evenly, and also if you build muscle in an area, the muscle pushes the fat out on top so you can see the fat more prominently. Keep plugging away at losing, it will work out in the end
