Lost 1kg (2.2 pounds) in one day or so. I am sure it won't keep going this fast as hopefully I will get my appetite back, and will have a lot less adrenaline racing around my body.

Earthquake scientists are saying this was the worst case scenario we could have had for our city and it is very unlikely to ever be this bad again. That makes me feel a lot better!

Hubby took the day off today as I was an emotional wreck last night. I just have to learn to cope - as we desperately need the money!
200.4 lb Lost so far: 21.2 lb.    Still to go: 57.1 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 15.4 lb a week

Hey Squiggs, not sure that anyone can really learn to "cope" with the conditions that surround you. Thoughts and prayer with you.

Thanks :X It is up again as I knew it would be, back to what it was two days ago so that is a lot more normal. Have been doing a bit of sorting out of my work stuff, and did some gardening this morning outside. Trying to make myself feel more normal...

That's what it takes, Squiggs. Just one thing at a time. There's no "normal schedule" for this kind of thing, so you just do the best you can in your own way and in your own time. Sending only good, positive thoughts your way...

Take care squiggs!! It takes time to recover from trauma and you've had more than your fair share this year. Be kind to yourself ... and make a few plans for every day. It will get better.

Honey, I was so relieved to hear from Stef that you were well after the quake. I grew up in Southern California and earthquakes can be the most scariest thing to deal with, especially those that you have gotten. I cannot even imagine. Bless you for what you have gone through. Take care my friend.

Squiggs, it will take time to re-center after this. I am sure your husband understands.

I'm sorry that all this is still happening to you folks. Glad hubby stayed home with you though. Are you ready to move yet? I couldn't go through what you are having to. You've got more guts than I. Praying you stay safe. :)HUGS:)
