Hello everyone. I hope you’re feeling as good as I am on this fine Monday morning. I made it through a weekend filled with temptation. I had a few bites of things that I wanted to taste that were not on my diet. Beans, potato salad and sweet BBQ sauce where on my list of indulgences. I kept my portions tiny and still satisfied my curiosity of the “forbidden foods”. My protein was low both days but I think that was because there is not enough protein in beer. I let go a little and had several (too many) light beers since we had a graduation party for my oldest step-daughter on Saturday. I still stayed within my calorie limit but the beer stole a lot of my calories and didn’t give me much nutrition which is why I didn’t get enough protein. I weighed in this morning and was only .4 lbs heavier than Friday. I should have that knocked back off by the end of today. I had a good workout this morning. I feel taxed but good at the same time. I look forward to a successful week of breaking goals and sticking to the plan! Have a good week everyone. Make it count!
