1st goal: to be under 300.

I once saw a sign while visiting someone in the hospital that said something to the effect of... for patients that weigh 300+ pounds, a lifting device would be required.

I always thought, I hope that sign never applies to me. Through diligence and hard work, I hope I will surpass this goal in the next 2 weeks.

you can do it! we’re here for you! i’m always hungry and my trick is at the beginning of the week i’ll cut up a ton of red peppers, mini cucumbers, oranges, and other healthy stuff to snack on. and keep chips/soda/mac and cheese OUT of the house! i’m a sucker for mac and cheese 😂. good luck to you!!

Once I got passed the pasta end of Mac and cheese I began to really enjoy minced cauliflower (or any low carb veg) baked with cheese sauce... with butter and cream or milk. Nice and brown on top. Everything but the carbs Portion control is always the killer for me, especially when it's tasty. But I'm working at it. Trying to focus on how good I feel in a body that's slimming... though I still have a long way to go.

Brave journey and progress is the pathway. Also consider if you were not trying you would just continue to gain. Glad you are learning healthy alternatives. Cheers you can do this. 👍🏼👏🎉👏👏

You have absolutely got this! We all have our breaking points. Thank you for being brave enough to share yours. At 379lbs I couldn't fasten the seat belt in my dad's truck. That was MY last straw and the moment I finally realized how bad it had gotten. You're in the right spot. we've got you.

You can do this. When I started my journey on April 12, I weighed 343 pounds. Today, I am 302. I am short, so my end goal is still over 100 pounds away. I just followed you. Go read my last journal entry from this morning. It's more of a blog, but it explains my journey and my new lifestyle.

One of the things I never wanted to be was 300 lbs. I was 297 lbs. when I realized I was very close to this number. It made me lose 50 lbs. slow & steady! I’m still trying to lose more weight!
