Unless there are medical problems, it basically comes down to calories in/calories burned. Are you eating enough calories to keep your metabolism burning properly? Are you eating too many calories? Are you eating a lot of processed foods (they contain a lot of sodium a which can cause the body to retain water)? Are you getting enough liquids to stay hydrated and flush out sodium? Are you getting enough lean protein, dairy, fruits and veggies? (Not all calories are created equal). What we eat is also important. Are you being honest about what you are eating? All those bites, licks and tastes can add up. Many times people follow their diet reasonable well, then poorly, then okay, then poorly and find they don't lose. Try a week of 100% on plan. Do everything your supposed to do. Be active! Focus on eating healthy and sticking to 1300 calories a day (or whatever is good for you). Write it all down and see what happens. Also note how your clothes are fitting. Sometimes we lose fat but don't see it as much on the scale. Good luck!
