I had an allergic reaction to hair bleach where I have to take steroids for 7 days to get down my swelling on my face and head! Will that make me gain weight?

It could possibly make you gain, but it would only be temporary. Look at the side effects on the package. Take care of yourself, I've been hospitalized twice for allergies to latex.

Hi! I think a week of steroids will not affect your weight. It is possible that your appetite could increase but that is usually seen with prolonged use of steroids .I'm a pharmacist and don't think a week will really have much harm. Just make sure you do eat something when you take these pills because they can really upset your stomach if they are taken on an empty stomach. Feel better!
