Eek!!! 🤗🤗 I wasn’t expecting a drop this morning since I had a little one yesterday. But when I look back at my journey, this seems to be a theme for me... locked in at a number for days or sometimes a couple weeks... then a few days of drops. Interesting!! I’ve also learned that good sleep is critical for me to be able to lose and maintain. I’ve learned so much along the way about what my body likes and what it doesn’t. Most importantly, I’ve learned to LOVE my body and myself in alllll of its stages, and giving myself a little love pep talk in the mirror (instead of picking myself apart), has done wonders. Sounds odd, but it’s true! Kind of like the studies they’ve done on houseplants.... the ones that were talked to, had music played for them and loved on, grew faster and healthier. The others only received bare necessities.. water, light, etc. They lived but didn’t thrive as well as the ones that were loved. Try it with your body... it works!!

My body is exactly the same way... I’ll have days/weeks where my weight is at a plateau, then suddenly several days of drops! Have a good weekend

Great perspective. I wish everyone believed this mantra. Everyone has a different body and there are few that are truly happy with what they have.

Thank you! I wish everyone believed it too. Or at least gave it a real shot to challenge it :) I wish I had done so much sooner. And yes, it’s so strange to plateau for a long stretch and then drop every day for a week!

Jmamma and DaniB, I’m so glad it spoke to you!! I wish I’d embraced it much sooner. I now try to thank my body every day for what it does for me—no matter what size! ❤️❤️

Great job! I don't always love myself but I do talk to my houseplants. I literally just told my husband this the other day. He feigned interest. They are flourishing. 😆 congrats to you!!❤️

Davidprincess, I’m glad someone else knows about the houseplants!! I name mine 😂 It’s definitely not always easy to love myself/my body, and some days I feel like I’m lying when I’m telling myself I love all the parts I’m discouraged by. But most days I feel like I’ve just gotten a warm hug afterwards and I’ve watched how differently my body responds.... just like the plants lol!! 🥰🥰🥰

Sassy the things that you are now learning are not unique to you, they are well known scientific and medical facts. Unless people are in some way connected to the world of nutrition, medicine, and yes sports, most people just don’t have the incentive to learn about this stuff. Sleep is crucial for our bodies. That is when it heals, repairs and detoxifies.

Kenna yes I know they are known and not newly discovered by me :) I was simply stating the things I’ve learned throughout my journey and all the ups & downs. And to share it with those who may benefit from it and spread positive energy ✨❤️
