kim1214's Journal, 06 February 2009

So I thought I would try something new on top of 3FC. I check 3FC daily, but haven't been keeping an online journal. I keep a written journal, but find that I am more apt to get everything in with an online journal as I type a lot fast then I write.

I can't even count up how many times I have tried to lose weight. I have been working on it now since October of '08 and have had some real ups and downs. I've been sick for a huge
part of it and just plain lazy. I need as much support as I can get so here I am.

I'm doing weight watchers right now and planning on losing enough weight so I can work towards becoming a lifetime member (that's a ways away).

We have basketball games tonight which means I have a long night ahead of me and will be spending a lot of time on my feet. My BF and I are going ice fishing tomorrow so I need to come up with something tonight that I can bring with me and reheat when I get there. I make a really good low fat chicken tortilla soup so I was thinking about that, although I found a really awesome beef stew recipe and I know other people will eat that. My BF and his dad are more traditional so I don't think they would go for the tortilla soup, whereas I'm sure they would be interested in the stew. I'm going to get quite a work out walking through 2 feet of snow for the roughly 2 miles it is to the pond.

10,000 steps every day before bed... only at 2500 right now so I better get moving...

you can do it! enjoy the time outdoors even when it is cold, keep moving and don't get discouraged. Remember we are all on the same boat as far as weight loss I know I have had my ups and downs and my weight fluxuations, I am still trying to get motivated to finish what I have started this year and lose the weight I need to lose by April.
