squigglywiggly's Journal, 15 January 2011

No loss today but I can handle that. Would have been nice though! The only differences were maybe I didn't drink as much water, and I had granulated Splenda (the Torani SF syrup with splenda was fine).

Also the chicken drumsticks I had for breakfast tasted odd - I wonder if we accidentally bought basted ones... and I ate breakfast about 2 hours late LOL.

So here I sit, drinking water, have had my breakfast, got my list of household chores to do, as well as my designing. Today should be a productive day!

Does anyone else log their housework in the exercise diary? If not why not? It's all exercise LOL

Squiggs, I log mine in for sure. Its cardio to me because I am moving all over my house at once. I usually wear gym type clothes, always use tennis shoes and even bought some ankle weight to wear while I clean. I add the patios to that and I am all over!! Michael helps and we knock it out in two hours.Usually tackle the house on Saturdays that way during the week I just have to do a "last clean up" before bed bed to keep things in order. Spend the rest of the day on Saturdays doing laundry and closet organizer and I am good to go for the week!

You sound organised! I just paid for a years worth of someone telling me what to do LOL. Weekends are easy which is good! You print out a list of chores, one side is daily and the other is about 3-5 things you do that change every day. Today's ones are simple - change the dishcloth, change handtowels in the bathroom and water indoor plants. The daily stuff is all the stuff you have to do normally like kitchen and laundry and rubbish , vitamins, making your bed etc. I work best when I have a list and this way it is all done for me and at a low cost. I got it from Motivated Moms and it works better for me than even Flylady did! Worth every cent in my eyes. Normally I hate housework but this makes it kinda fun ROFL!

Sqiggs the water really does make a difference, I always struggle with getting my water in, but when I do it pays off. I think the list is kinda cool, you can cross out the completed tasks, and I bet you have a real sense of accomplishment.

Yup I do Raven, I need that extra prodding but feel great at the end. Onto my second glass of water. Trying to sip so it runs through slower ROFL!

Squiggs, I love the list thing! We have a blank weekly calender on our fridge and instead of using it for calender, I write the boys name on it and thats their list of chores they are responsible for the week! That way there no "thats not my job!" in my house. With 4 teenage boys and a husband thats the only way to get stuff done! Sadly enough I don't have all the boys home all the time. My step sons are with their mom right now and Jay is with his dad so I just have Michael but he is wonderful helper! P.S. I bought those ankle weights at Walmart for 5 bucks. Maybe you can find them on line.

Squiggs, I have quit logging any exercise, and am just leaving it at sleep and rest...in others words my base metabolic index...as long as I stay below that number, I figure I am good and the exercise I was logging before didn't seem to make me lose any more weight! lol
