The human body is such an amazing machine. I dont think people here on fatsecret are even close to aware of what their body is capable of. I had no idea what I was capable of at the beginning of my fitness journey, and I am absolutely amazed with what I have accomplished over the past 8 months. I jumped on the scale for the heck of it this morning and I weighed 175 lbs...Up 5 lbs from the day I hit my goal 5 weeks ago, yet I look in the mirror and I am even more lean. I remember like it was yesterday, the first time that I did the flat bench press I struggled to move 95 pounds...2 days ago I bench pressed 225 pounds (free weights) 8 times. The same strength gains carry over to evey other muscle group in my body, I am literally twice as strong as I was when I weighed 204 pounds. Amazing. I will be continuing my 3000-3300 calorie per day diet until the April-May time frame at which time I will move on to another phase to burn off the rest of the fat thats left over from phase 1.
