POWENCH's Journal, 19 January 2009

I am having a keep it in perspective day. Once again I am playing the numbers game as those of you who read this know I like to do more often than I should.

I try to assess at the end of each week and look for wins and losses, things I could have done better and things I did well. So when I can't find any reason for no movement on the scale, it is hard to understand the deal. According to the numbers, even if I shave off a ton of "calories burnt" due to the guess factor, I should have lost 5 pounds this week. I don't think that is going to be the case tomorrow night.

I realize once again the even if I am not losing a massive amount of weight in the time frames that I think I should...I am still better off for what I have done and what I will hopefully do as I struggle on down this road.

I am planning already how to deal with the up coming Grand Canyon Trip. We are going to use a company that puts all the food together for us and I can view the menu on line...so I know what to expect and how to work around. I make having a fitess room a huge priority when booking work hotels. And I struggle with my food choices like all of you, hoping each day to make the kind of choices that re-enforce the kind of life style and person that I want to become.
