Jada Petsch's Journal, 13 December 2010

So I've fallen off the wagon a bit this week. Just have alot going on. My hubby is back in the States. :) Home, but not in my arms yet. I haven't seen him since the beginning of June, so I've been a jumble of emotion about seeing him and him being home. I've actually had my first gain in awhile too, and I'm sad about it. Nothing to do but to get back on track. I know I'm an emotional eatter, and right now I'm crazy emotional and stressed. But I know it'll be okay, just hard to get through it.

Trying to stay busy with projects around the house for the time being, and the never ending laundry. It's amazing what one adult and a toddler can mess up in a day...though I'm pretty sure the toddler puts some of my clean clothes in the dirty hamper.... Maybe this time next year she'll learn how to fold them instead of making piles out of them, or switching baskets they're in. Ah well.

I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying the holidays.

Jada, I am sure you are on an emotional rollercoaster right now...excitement being the most of it, I hope, to see your hubby again home safely after his recent deployment. Cherish every moment with him and Jules together again as a family. Put all the stress of this journey aside for you have much more important things to do, just try to eat smart, have reasonable portions and fit in some exercise as a family like nice long walks. They are so theraputic for spending time together and talking, enjoying nature, have a picnic. I hope that cyst on your foot isn't too aggrevating or painful that it would prevent you from doing all the fun things you have planned to do while hubby is home. You are blessed to have him here especially at this time of the year to keep your spirits bright! Can't wait until he sees the NEW YOU!!!!!

Thanks Babs! :) I'm going to try and make better choices than I have for the past week. :/ He's not completely home yet, but he will be very soon. We have plans to do things together, weather permitting. And he's going to go to the gym with me. As for the cyst, I'm scheuled for an mri of my foot on Wednesday. My sister is coming up tonight to help with Jules the next few days. I have a doctor's appointment in the big city which they'll be going with me to. Then they'll stay at the house for the mri, since it's in town. I'm very thankful to have him home this time of year, I'm excited and nervous about him seeing the 'new' me. Thanks once again for your comment, you always cheer me back up when I'm feeling down.

I hope you get to see him soon, your on a great journey and your the driver, sometimes it is ok to get lost and off route as long you end up finding your way in the end. The best of luck with everything!!! As for folding laundry, imo they are never to young to learn lol!

Thank you Shelly, Steve and Brittney. :) Afgan is a hard place to be. I have a friend over there now. It will be soon Brittney. :) Everyday brings us closer. I'm usually pretty good finding my way. I never get lost, but occasionally I do take a scenic route. ^.^ lol. I also try to teach Jules how, but it's a no go. She just like making the piles and playing in them. At least she's started picking them back up sometimes! lol.
