flaxseed's Journal, 15 October 2008

Its exactly 9 months since I first started my new way of eating and the scales are being kind and tell me I've lost 88 pounds so far. I've gone down 4 dress sizes and can now shop somewhere that isn't exclusively for larger sizes. It feels great and I look so much better. Whooooooh!

The weeather for the last two days has been superb. When I've gone swimming in the morning its been dark and frosty and the pine trees have been silhouetted in the headlights like sparkly christmas trees. When I've come out 2 hours later the skies have been blue, frost gone, sun shining and the drive home through the autumn trees has been spectacular. I just love the colours.

At the weekend I'm off to spend some time with granddaughter Lucy who has CFS so I'll need to keep my eye on my eating while I'm away.
