I’m disappointed in myself for not keeping up with my weight loss. I have let too many things get in my way. It is my birthday Sunday which is hitting me hard as I always told myself I’d reach my goal weight at 25. Well, I turn 26 Sunday so... I don’t think I can lose 160lbs in 2 days lol.

Luckily, my family will be going out of town for a week so I’ll be able to cook healthy meals without the bad temptations. I’m hoping this will jump start my weight loss and I’ll get back into the swing of things. I just have to be strong and not let those around me influence me with their bad habits. I can do it =)
315.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 155.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hang in there. Your birthday is a chance to start fresh, especially since you can begin your week with healthy cooking. Maybe the best gifts you can give yourself are awareness, time, and setting small, achievable goals. Hope you have a GREAT birthday!

Try to set small goals. Sometimes obsessing about the 160 lbs you didn't lose makes it seem impossible. Try 5 lbs at a time. Then set a plan into motion of how you will achieve this. This is an approach that I am going to try. I think once you get back on track and get some success you can take on the bigger chunk. Oh and have a very happy birthday!

Thank you =) I had a wonderful birthday and starting today, although I didn't journal, I did watch my portions and made sure I drank plenty of water. I even wore my shape-ups! I know I can lose it again, just have to start small. =)
