Hey don’t get upset or worried, if your working out it can cause you to hold onto more water (thus weighing more on the scale). If you are doing the following Working out Drinking enough water ( 2.7 litres a day for women plus a additional liter per hour of exercise) Your in a calorie deficit Then you will be loosing fat. It’s best to take photos and measurements rather than always go off if the scale. Keep positive and good luck

Its really hard but I find it best not to dwell on what has been and rather focus on the new day and how you can improve!

Dieting can be really tough because if you restrict on foods like sugars and carbs, this has a really strong impact on your mood! So it’s really common to feel down when dieting. Stick with it and keep going, if you are doing it right, the good results will come, even if you don’t see them at first, and I promise your body will be thankful. Just keep going and we are all here to support you along the way!

I know it is sooo hard But it isn't easy. Don't be so hard on yourself. It is going to be okay. Okay? You can do it. Get up. Brush yourself off. Have a short outburst if you want. Then...get back on the saddle 😊🌷

Hi, don't worry about it. Some times your weight will not change at all, or go a bit up. But it doesn't mean what you are doing is worthless, because your body still working it out but different day. And also when you just start the kilos will go away quickly in first 3 weeks, after that it will be harder to loose even gramms. Start taking a measurements of your body onece a week and pictures of yourself. When it comes to the point that you want to give up, just look at all your results and the pictures you been working for, that should make you proud of yourself and make you to move on. NEVER GIVE UP!

I was reading a really helpful article on the Internet where an expert on all things weight loss said that there is a period of time called 'The Suck' where you do everything right but you don't really see any results on the scale but if you stay committed and don't give up after 9-12 weeks you'll start seeing results. I've been doing this about 2 months and I've not lost an awful lot but my physical appearance is changing even when the scale is not. I also started having a small meal in the later evenings and that seems to have helped, I was sometimes eating too little and I think that can be just as damaging as eating too much.

Yes please keep going. I thought I was never going to lose any weight as I’ve been running every day and really being good and the scales just wouldn’t move. It makes u demoralised and I felt what was the flipping point in being so good , all for nothing. I thought maybe it was my age (57) as menopause etc can affect the weight loss but I found this site and by reading everyone’s posts and encouragements I kept going! Now the weight has started to come off and I’m so happy and glad I stuck with it! Stick with it, we’re all here to help and support you 😊

Elizabeth, lots of great people here, all with different kinds of diets and regimes but all have a common goal. Stick with it and before you know the scales will be your friend 🙂

Elizabeth don't give up I'm losing weight but its not a lot compared to other people as I've always been small, but the last couple of years I've put on 8 kilos lost a bit then gained a bit. My hubby has lost a lot and I carry on to help him . So it's a slow progress so some weeks it like I'm wasting my time I don't lose anything, but I keep pressing on. You can do this. He's lost 19kg. just don't give up.

Please don’t give up I was so fed up a few days ago as have only been loosing .75 lb or a 1lb a week even went over my calories ( not by much ) wasn’t considering my carb protein fat ratio been excersising by doing 10,000 steps a day ( could not be bothered a few days ago) and then thought come on you’ve come this far and for what ever reason dropped a couple of pounds which immediately boosted my mood ! I’ve literally been dropping small amounts each week which have all added up ( better off than on ) x

You just got to keep on going, keep restarting and trying. If you do, some weeks you go down, some up but over 6 months, 1 year you will be down. If you don’t keep restarting and keep retrying then you won’t.

Don’t try and lose weight by motivation because it comes and goes ! You need to try and think of it as a lifestyle change ! Google more on how to not lose weight in burst of motivation. Don’t worry u r not alone ❤️💖

Hi. I (am I am sure all of us) know where you are coming from. Sometimes it seems so easy and other times nothing seems to have the effect you want. I got so encouraged by losing for the first four weeks that I stuck with it....then I slipped a bit, then lockdown hit..... the rest is history - as is my weight loss... Back to where I started but I am NOT going to give up hope. I just need my routine back so I can get into the swing of eating sensibly and not pigging out and then snacking/bingeing on the wrong things. Just stay focussed and even when you have a 'bad' day - take it as a minor 'blip' and then 'pick yourself up, dust yourself down....and ....' think of you goal.

weight doesn't have to be bad. muscle weighs more. have you taken body measurements they xan be a good indicator of how you are doing too. I have gained 3kg in 1 month and am feeling low about it but its lockdown and for all its being eased its been a long time and we will all be treating ourselves a little more and exercising a little less. Don't give up or beat yourself up about it, we are all here to offer support.
