It's been crazy around here! I really haven't been concentrating on eating healthy, but suprisingly enough I'm down a pound and a half! Probably from just not eating! And we all know that's not a healthy way to loose!! You know how they say "when it rains it pours?" well that's exactly how the past 2 weeks have been for me!
First off... last Monday I got a note sent home that there was lice in my son's classroom. they had done checks on every kid, but mine was itching! so, after a thourough inspection, I found a few of the little boogers on my son. ugh! if anyone has ever dealt with this on their child before you know how horrible this is! I had to clean my house top to bottom, wash EVERYTHING in hot water, wash my son (and my daughter to be safe) hair in listerine (they were minty fresh!) and then do it all over again one week later to make sure I had it all. so far so good. then on top of it, my washing machine broke and I have a lake in my laundry room. AHHHH! so..... let's just say I've bbeen busy to say the least, and I"m hoping that this will all calm down very soon!
so, I hope that everyone else is doing well. we finally had some rain this past weekend and the grass is very green and long!
fall is definately upon us, and Pennsylvania is starting to look beautiful!

Sorry you had to deal with those little head-critters! What a pain! And then a flooded laundry room! Once things get under control, I think you should treat yourself to a nice massage or bubble bath. The leaves are starting to change here in MD, too. I love this time of year! Hope your week gets better!

Oh no. Lice is no fun. we had family in town last month, and one of the kids had it. They had 3 kids, we have 2, so we were so worried they would all get it. They had been sleeping together, playing in close quarters all week. I washed, vacummed, sterilyzed EVERYTHING!!! It was insane. I was so paranoid, i did not want to be the person who sent lice to school!! But thankfully, no one else got it. No fun!! I did laundry all day for several days. Ugh!

Uck, lice! I'm always itching, just not with live..but poison ivy and chiggers, lol. Hope you get your washer fixed soon!
