Food is my drug and I'm still eating too much. I'm stressed over my mom and my daughter. Mom needs my extra attention and help right now bc of the social isolation from Covid. She's stressed out bc her bathroom renovation starts next week and she hates any change in her routine. I'm very worried about her falling in the spare bathroom during that time. I've got to get everything moved and arranged to please her before it starts. My daughter is falling apart from adult ADHD problems, and since she's 2000 miles away, I can't be there to help her. She's uninsured, underpaid, and having to find a doc who'll readily prescribe something like Ritalin to help her get her life back together. Thank goodness we can give her our stimulus checks to cover it. I started reading as much as I could about adult ADHD-inattentive type yesterday. She definitely has that problem and so does her dad. I've always called them the two peas in a messy little pod. So many things started and left unfinished in little piles everywhere. I'm glad I don't need Xanax to cope, but hey, where are my cookies?
200.6 lb Lost so far: 11.4 lb.    Still to go: 50.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks, JC! I wish I were really trying to eat better, but I'm just being accountable for my bad habits right now. The way I'm eating now, there's no reason for me to see anything but major gains. I need to reflect on what I'm doing.

That sounds like a tough situation. I hope your mom stays safe as her bathroom is getting re-done, and that your daughter can get the help she needs. That's so nice of you to share your stimulus check with her toward that end! Sometimes I overeat, too, especially when I'm bored, but maybe you can think of food as nourishment for your body. What are the best foods you can eat to give you the best fuel to take care of your body and provide clean energy? God bless you and your family 😊 And jcmama, I love your encouragement! ☀️

I’m 75. I found out I was ADD a few years ago. It sure explained a lot about my life. I never had the hyperactive part of it because I had severe anemia my whole life . . . anemia that required frequent transfusions. Fortunately I ALSO found out I was a celiac. The last 10 years have been so much easier! No hospitalizations! I just wish we found all this out when I was younger and had more life to use my better health. 😳
